Assault Cruiser Refit: Regent Class
Riker: Geordi, are those pockets of Metreon Gas?
La Forge: Yes Commander. Highly volatile. Recommend we keep our distance.
Riker: Negative. I want to use the ramscoop to collect as much of it as we can.
La Forge: The purpose being?
Riker: The purpose being, I intend to shove it down the Son'a’s throat.
(Female Trill navigator swoons … the audience swoons … Riker is so dreamy …)
Daniels: Commander, if one of their weapons hits that gas…
Riker: It’s our only way out of here, Mr. Daniels.
La Forge: I wouldn’t be surprised if history remembers this as the Riker Maneuver.
Riker: If it works. Computer, activate manual steering column.
In 2375, the U.S.S. Enterprise-E, a Sovereign Class Assault Cruiser, engaged the Son'a in the Briar Patch. Commander William T. Riker was in command while Captain Jean Luc Picard was on the surface of the Ba'ku homeworld attempting to assist the population. Outnumbered, Riker demonstrated his unconventional thinking and defeated the Son'a by venting metreon gas between the Enterprise and the Son'a ships. The Son'a's own weapons ignited the gas, and the resulting explosion destroyed one Son'a ship and disabled the other. History remembers this as the Riker Maneuver.
The Sovereign has become the standard for which all Assault Cruisers are measured. Now this hallmark ship class gets an upgrade and sets a new standard — the Assault Cruiser Refit: Regent Class.
The Regent Class comes equipped with a Metreon Gas Canisters Console Mod. Metreon Gas is highly unstable, but when properly stored it can be safely replicated and transported. This Console Mod allows you to vent the gas from your Bussard Collectors and ignite it at will. The resulting explosions can be extremely devastating. This Console Mod can be equipped in any console slot. It may only be equipped on Sovereign variants, including the Assault Cruiser and Assault Cruiser Refit.
The Assault Cruiser Refit: Regent Class also comes with a prototype Wide Angle Quantum Torpedo Launcher. This torpedo launcher has been upgraded with a Wide Angle targeting system that allows the torpedo to lock onto targets that would normally be outside of standard firing arcs, providing a 180-degree targeting arc. This launcher can be equipped on any starship, but you may only equip one.
The Assault Cruiser Refit configuration includes the Regent, Sovereign, Noble and Majestic class costumes, and comes complete with a manual steering column joystick (not really).

I feel the need to say that I honestly think the Regent is the most beautiful ship I've ever seen in Star Trek! I really mean that, and I'm a hardcore starship enthusiast. She's really made my enjoyment of the game massively improved and I just wanted to thank the designer(s) of this ship. Great work, guys! :D

Epic looking ship, nice console, And then price has to go and make it a total rip off. It would be so much nicer if you guys would stop making class specific consoles all together and just make everything universal, then at least there'd be a little more encentive to buy this ship. But as long as the prices stay high and the consoles stay bound, I can't see myself buying much any time soon. A 50% off on everything sale could change that though. So yeah Great job making the ship, just please concider making things less expensive and stop welding the the uniqe consoles into the ESP conduites for a change (thanks for the torp though)

2500 zen for a torpedo? Cause there's no way I'm flying that thing. Its nice to have something to add to the rather feeble broadside of a decent looking cruiser though

They should add the U.S.S. Relativity if you have seen the ship I mean from Star Trek Voyager you would agree with me, they could just put part of the details as "it fell through a time rift." or some thing like that the Relativity would be another fun ship to fly around and beat-up on things with.

Ever since the odyssey class starship came out designs just got better and better. Regent class tops the cake. If you can remember Galaxy class had inbound facing pylons. Although they arent as noticable. But in many other respects this ship truly is 25th century standard.

Nice ship. I like to use it in pvp. Because indeed alot of players agree here.. NO CONTENT to play in. I think I will steal the phonthon Torpedo of it and put it on my tactical oddy. I know this company likes to make money, and that we would buy it. But please... give us some content to use it in. MISSIONS

Hmmm not bad... though to be honest the only reason I'd get this ship is to gain the Quantum Torpedo Launcher. Can't wait to see a new skin for my MVA :) ... oh and some more interiors e.g. Intrepid/Sov bridges etc

Oh by the way when are the Klingon's getting better looking carriers? The current batch look like dog droppings and worse. Make a D-7 or Vorcha carrier varient.

Enough with the radiused pylons. They look like the ship pulled to many G's and gravity control failed bending the pylons. The worst ones are on the assualt cruiser Noble and Majestic varients.

It's a good thing that it takes no artistic talent to complain about how something looks or else we would be missing all of these quality comments! Seriously, different folks have different tastes. If you do not like it then do not buy it. Others may like it and want to buy it and think your ship looks ugly.

Forget the constant drivel of ships released for the Federation, give the KDF ships and content. The more you add to the Federation the more you push away those of us the do not care to play the Fed faction. This number dwindles every release because of this garbage you pull.

if u don't play as the feds then updates for them shouldn't matter to u. the kdf will get their updates in time. besides the feds have always been more into upgrading and making new ships.

Hoorayy! Cryptic has brought another "kickass" ship. Now, if only I had smthng to use it for^^ Hopefully I'll see cryptic (aka PW) introduce A_lot more regular content. now that the playerbase has pored some hard cash into the mix. Single player missions for VA-LG(With value in repeat, and/or changing objectives etc. ) larger fleet actions, new sectors to explore. There are plenty of races in the Lore that can have a more pronounced position in STO. What are you waiting for? Perhaps you need to develop more advanced foundery tool for players to create content outside the simplistic mission toolbox? Well, this player has reduced playtime with 90-95%, and put a stop to all payments to PW. Only way you'll get a cent more is to CREATE CONTENT over this moronic buissinesslike overflow of ships, one more useless the the other. Lockboxes, I wont even comment on that ^^

I flew the original Sov design for over a year on different characters. Each ship has its place, and while it might be a bit odd looking to some the sweeping arc of the pylons give it an appearance if being in motion when it is not. She is a "Tall Ship" and I have a star to steer her by; and that is all I ask. Should be an interesting vessel to equip out on both Engineering, Tactical and even Science toons.

I see we have some new content again and again, but the question is When will we receive the Fleet Tribbles and the Special doff that we are supposed to receive as we participated on Tribble for the Season 6 beta test ?
