To celebrate the launch of Jade Dynasty’s summer update, we’re rolling out a number of new achievements, totaling 415 achievement points. Use these in the Token Shop for great prizes!

To collect all of these achievements, you’ll have to do some serious exploring. The Soul Tower instance lies in wait for you – challenge its nigh-impossible Floor 60 for the Soul Survivor achievement, worth 50 points.

You’ll also be rewarded for returning to these instances, and not just completing them once, but mastering them. Those who earn the fiery Beelzebeast mount from the Understream instance will get 50 points from Fire and Water.

The new Soulstone equipment will also make an appearance, if you want to rule the Token Shop. If you can collect and Awaken a total of 100 Soulstones, you’ll earn the 50-point Soulstone Stash.

Jade Dynasty’s summer content update is here – get in the game, and face all-new challenges and earn all-new rewards!

With Jade Dynasty’s summer update, you’ll be able to get started collecting and upgrading Soulstones. You can earn a number of Soulstone items through the Soul Tower instance, but you can also get them from the Marketplace.

Get all the potential Resistances and set skills from your Soulstone today!

The Awakening Orb will turn your Soulstone from just a lump of rock to a full Soulstone. When you first get a Soulstone, you won’t be able to use it until it’s Awakened. Awakening Orbs can be yours for just 0.25 Jaden each.

The Chi Booster is the best way to increase your Soulstone’s level. Each use of a Chi Booster will increase its EXP by 30, and you’ll have a chance at better skills. Chi Boosters are in the marketplace for 1.50 Jaden.

Soul Inverters will reset and scramble your Soulstone’s stat bonuses, and give you a shot at getting more stat bonuses. Each Soul Inverter is just 0.50 Jaden.

To get flexibility with your Starstet, you’ll want a Soulflow Jade. If you want to use one of the lower-level Starset skills, you’ll need to remove any unnecessary Starsoul slots. The Soulflow Jade is worth 2.50 Jaden.

We’ve also built out better bundles for some of your favorite items in the marketplace!

Serenity Jades are now in packs of x11 instead of x10, as are Telepathy Gems, Meditation Orbs and Puppet Protectors. All of these bundles have remained the same price, so you’re getting more zip for your ZEN!

We’re also adding new bundles, effectively discounting some other favorite items. Star Charms are now available in packs of x11, and Bronze Sigils can be had in packs of x6.

Jade Dynasty’s summer content update is planned to arrive on August 2 with this Thursday’s maintenance, and you’ll be able to get free items from the new Exploration system. We’ve already given a peek at the Exploration system in our preview; now you can learn some of the tips and tricks for making the most of it.

(Just to clarify early on: Although each of the zones in the Exploration interface is named after an in-game location, you don’t have to go there or in any way deal with those in-game zones. The “Dragon Mountain” zone just happens to have that icon.)

We’ve already gone over how you’ll need multiple Sage’s Compass to get the best rewards. These items have a chance (and a pretty good one, at that) to increase the quality of each zone, so when you Explore it, you get better prizes. You could just stockpile over several days – or you could find all the ways to pick them up.

Every day, you’ll get up to three sets of Online Rewards. Depending on how long you stay online, you can get up to six Sage’s Compasses per day. This is also where you’ll get your daily Expedition Pack, used to actually get your rewards.

That’s a good start, but you’ll want more. Head to the Soul Tower instance: You’ll earn Sage’s Compasses both as the one-time rewards for completing a floor and as daily rewards. With these methods, you’ll be able to gather a good number of Sage’s Compasses.

To make the most of your Compasses, though, you’ve got to know how to use them. Each day, the value of every zone is reset for you, usually between 0 and 2 stars. If you’re lucky, one of the naturally better zones – Dragon Mountain, Kunlun, etc. – will start off with stars. If not, you’ve got to make a choice: Is it better to have a higher chance at lower rewards, or should you invest in the best zones?

At a five-star rating, Heaven’s Repository has a chance at 2x Kirin Sigil Shards, while Sunstream offers extra vouchers for Moontop Hollow. You’ll have to decide for yourself what’s worthwhile, and whether it’s worth stockpiling Compasses over several days. With enough of them, you’ve got a great shot at five-starring a zone.
 

With the Exploration system, you’ve got a great shot at some very helpful prizes, including Taichi Pills, Seal Orbs and Kirin Sigil Shards. Get yours starting August 2 in Jade Dynasty, the free MMORPG with epic PvP and the most buried treasure!

The Blood Moon event will run from 10 AM PDT Friday until 11:59 PM PDT Sunday, bringing hordes of undead and special rewards to Millennium City!

The Blood Moon has risen, painting Millennium City red with its deathly light. The Undying Lord Takofanes has attacked at the head of his undead army, and heroes are needed to stand against him. Can you survive the onslaught of his undead minions, including the trapped souls of heroes who died during the Battle of Detroit?

During this event, you'll be able to get a ton of special perks and collect ghoulish action figures. The Blood Moon will only last for this weekend, from Friday 10 AM PDT until Sunday 11:59 PM PDT, so get in there and help defend the city today!

A spate of arcane activity and mystical mayhem at the hands of the Cult of the Red Banner has citizens of West Side fleeing the streets in terror, and asking each other just how much more they can take.  

What began as a series of strange thefts has seemingly been superseded by something even more sinister.  Sightings of strange lights and storms in the sky around the Shandor Building have accompanied numerous eyewitness accounts of dark rituals being conducted by floating sorcerers in abandoned alleys.

According to many in the community, events leading up to this serious situation began quietly enough.  Last week, reports began to surface of armed bands of cultists stealthily stalking the streets of West Side, followed by an increasing number of unsolved break-ins.  Citizens of Chinatown were particularly hard hit by the thefts.  Antique dealers, curio shop owners, even a number of families reported violent break-ins but with very little of value stolen.  Among the reports of stolen property was a curiously high volume of “ancient heirlooms” and “relics.”  Curiously, aside from sentimental value, most were reportedly not inherently costly or made from any precious materials.

With representatives of the elusive Trismegistus Council unavailable for comment, the little concrete evidence our sources have managed to uncover seems to point to an impending, sinister magic ritual in the making – one with no doubt dire consequences for our fair city.  Until this nefarious plot is unraveled, citizens of West Side – and particularly those residing in Chinatown – are advised to exercise extreme caution, and to stay off the streets at night.

Gravitar Grabs Headlines

Anyone with even a passing interest in super-gossip or fashion news has no doubt seen or heard of the recent exploits of the devious and destructive diva known as Gravitar.  Flying in and out of major metropolitan areas, this infamous super-villainess continues to cause serious property damage with apparently little discernible motive. 

A recent confrontation with a team of superheroes in Downtown led to the near-complete demolition of a major intersection, not to mention severe traffic congestion for days thereafter.  Fortunately, despite repeated incidents, there have been no serious injuries – except perhaps for the pride of a number of would-be heroes and the MARS tactical response units who were unsuccessful in several arrest attempts.
 

Speculation persists that Gravitar’s true intention is simply self-promotion.  And, if the resultant splash of headlines and magazine covers is any indication, she has found success.  No matter the property cost or the risk to human life at her every destructive appearance, bystanders seem magnetically drawn to watch from as close as they dare, snapping photographs and recording video of the villainess, while scores of publications print page after page featuring her latest fashion statements.

Sources close to UNITY report that the Champions themselves are setting up a task force to take her down once and for all.  Meanwhile, citizens are advised to keep their distance – anyone longing for a closer look at the city’s most vain villainess can pick up a copy of the latest issue of Cosmopolitan Heroine.

Allegations against Franklin Stone Dropped as Key Witness Disappears

Franklin Stone, businessman and CEO of Advanced Concepts Industries, has recently been cleared of all charges in a conspiracy case following the disappearance of a key witness, reporter Arthur Ross. 
 

Speaking at a press conference following the news, Stone expressed his concern for the safety of the missing witness and even pledged the support of his own personal security team to aid in the search.

Recognized worldwide as one of the planet’s most shrewd and ruthless businessmen, this is not the first time Stone has come under scrutiny by authorities.  Three prior investigations into Stone and his legitimate organizations have centered on charges of conspiracy, fraud, and even suspected ties to organized super-crime. 

However, despite these public inquiries, Stone has not once yet been indicted.  Furthermore, he has famously won several lawsuits for libel and has received staunch public support from a number of high-ranking government, judiciary and police officials.  This leaves many in the public to wonder if there is any truth to the allegations, or if such success simply comes with the price of making many enemies.

Stone and ACI are currently still under investigation by the FCC for unrelated anti-trust violations.
 

Calling all Champions! The evil wizard Hi-Pan has flooded Millennium City with his Red Banner cultists, and mystical artifacts are being stolen left and right. Defeat him for Catalysts, martial arts melee weapons and more!

The Drifter’s done some digging, and this isn’t the first time that Hi-Pan has attacked Millennium City – but he used to be just a B-lister, and he was stopped easily. Something’s changed, and that spells trouble for Millennium City. The Drifter’s asking for anyone who can help to stop the Red Banner cultists and figure out Hi-Pan’s plot.

After you complete this new Daily Mission, take the artifacts you’ve retrieved to the Drifter. He’ll reward you with a Drifter’s Grab Bag, containing either a super catalyst to upgrade a MOD to level 9 or Salvage for the Drifter’s exchange shop. The Drifter’s shop has been updated to include four themed melee weapons, including the Heavy Naginata Blade Skin.

The few artifacts that have been recovered so far have all been part of a greater set, each piece embodying a philosophical concept. The Drifter’s contact, Master Ng Mui, is studying them to figure out what Hi-Pan wants with them. Who knows what magical horrors he could unleash if he collected enough of these artifacts?…

This Daily Mission will only be available until 7 AM PDT on July 26.

It takes a special kind of warrior to stand up to a wizard like Hi-Pan in our new Daily Mission: Get new Samurai gear from the Q-Store!

The new Samurai set isn’t just a transformation power, it’s a gear set as well. You can get all six items in the set from the Q-Store. The more items you collect, the better the stat boost you’ll get, and if you complete the collection, you’ll be able to transform into a Samurai.
 

Collect three pieces of the set to unlock a 25% bonus to Physical Damage Strength. With all six pieces of the set, you’ll unlock 25% Additional Physical Damage Strength, plus the Become Samurai Costume Swap Power.

Everything in the Questionite Store, including the Samurai set, can be earned through in-game missions. Grab all the Questionite you can and collect all the gear you can – unless Hi-Pan’s plot can be unraveled and stopped, Millennium City will have to discover his arcane plan the hard way!
