  Its even more of a rip off for the European users, I am in England so I use pounds, so not only is there the conversion rate between pounds to dollar I would also have to then put it into cpoints as well

  Why do people spend money on a free game? I can see maybe getting a membership but that would be the end of that. Cash Money for Zen then cryptic must be the florid in the water

  Incorrect. The dollar-per-cpoint is the same. 1 cpoint was never equal to 1 zen.

  i wouldnt worry too much about missing the sale, since they got rid of the cards its more expencive anyway, so it doesnt work out much cheaper.

  I agree! Duhhhh. They do sales all the time. Patience is a virtue. And if your real patient, you'll save up your refined dilithium and not pay a cent. Plus some of us get a monthly stipend to add to that. Love this game and plan to buy a lifetime membership when I have extra cash flow.

  Some of you guys need to grow a brain. I mean seriously, playing StarTrek should make us nerds, and nerds are supposed to be smart (or have some kind of common sense). So far this year we had a sale on most major holidays (Easter, etc). So why does it suprise many of you that they are having a sale near 4th of July? I bet many of you will be shocked to see a Christmas sale, only complaining that they should notified you 3 months in advance.

  ok i agree that its silly to complain about giving notice but i just have to point out the 4th of july is an AMERICAN so its not that unreasonable to not know its a holiday so before you insult people about needing to grow brains maybe you should remember that this game is played by people all over not just people from america!!

  Seriously, announce sooner? It's a sale, they don't owe any of you a sale, this isn't required of them to even do this. I suppose you expect Wal-mart to tell you now what's going on sale next month. Naivety is not a virtue. i don't have any Zen for the purchase, but I like that they do this as I know I can look forward to catching the next one.

  Paitence is a virtue. Sorry if you didn't have it. I stockpile points in every F2P game I play when they have a sale on points and wait for the inevitable sale on items or expansions.

  You guys are the biggest bunch of whining cry baby morons I've ever seen! I love this game, been playing for over 2yrs. It's a FREE game. Cryptic does their utmost to turn-out a quality product, and I've gained untold amounts of enjoyment from it. Get a life, stop complaining, and grow up!

  Wish I knew they were going to be doing the ship sale a month ago. Just before the last Zen sale I finally cracked after a few months and bought The Atrox, Bortasque bundle, Maurader, Dacoit, B'rel, Bellerophon, Stealth Fighter, Delta Flyer, Yellowstone and To'Duj Fighter while I had the funds available If I would have just saved the C Points for now I would have probably been able to also get Another couple level 50 ships with the savings.

  You can't really complain about this. Everyone knows that they do a sale every couple of months. Only a few weeks ago, they had a zen sale. You could have waited for a sale before you recently bought your ships. You chose not to, however, and that's not Cryptic or PW's fault.

  was saving for a tac escort retro, and gave up two days ago, and bought a DSSV, because it would have been another week or so before I would get that ship. with this, I coulda bought it :S (still I love my new ship, just am sorry that I couldnt buy the ship I wanted since I started)

  LOL being the ships most of us would buy if we didn't already own them wouldn't be included in the sale anyway... Long term players do not really benefit since we own them all already.
