Hearts and Minds Returns

Sometimes exploration of new ideas and new technologies leads to dark places. In Star Trek, we’ve seen many a cautionary tale about omniscient supercomputers, time travel, genetic manipulation, and telepathic oppression. The pursuit of knowledge isn’t always safe or pretty.
Hearts and Minds is a mini-mission that explores the consequences of some unconventional research gone awry. This mission is a “story in one act,” so you can easily finish it in a quick play session, and it’s easy to complete it with any additional characters that you may have on your account – which is handy, because the mission offers some special unique rewards.
Since Hearts and Minds is a horror story, it will only be around for Friday the 13th, whenever that may fall on the calendar – and perhaps another sufficiently horrifying day that we might choose! Fortunately for the squeamish, Hearts and Minds is creepy, but not graphically gruesome.
After all, what you can imagine is sometimes more horrific than anything you can be shown.
Hearts and Minds takes place in the Donatu sector of the Eta Eridani sector block, at a lunar research station in the Donatu system. Both Starfleet (level 5+) and KDF officers (level 21+) can accept this mission. Hail Franklin Drake (Starfleet officers) or K’Men (Klingon officers) to undertake this mission. It will be available this time from around 6pm PDT on Thursday, July 12, until around 6am PDT on Saturday, July 14.
NOTE: If you have completed the mission before, you will be able to acquire and complete it again and earn a reward.

I liked this mission, but it's too short. The whole mission is: solve 1 puzzle, read 2 logs, fight 4 enemies. I'd like to see the whole creepy episode series on next Halloween. The galaxy is not only full of wonders, but full of horrors too ;)

Nice! I never get bored playing this game and I always love new themes and ideas. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

i love new things that arrive in games keeps us entertained that bit longer and shows that the guys in charge are actually keeping it going.while the workers of the game do stuff it keeps us happy . i do hope they have gone deep into the idea of space stations there's a game i used to love playing called X there was X the threat X Terren conflict and a few lateral ones 5 in total i have the full set there a none online game unfortunately but the graphics and detail of the latest one was fantastic the missions was good and story line was beast the stations in that game was out of this world you could build as many as you wanted and link them together in any sector stations that produced different things from food to weapons and ships. i know with the looks of it this game is only having one station and its fleet based .it would have been good if it worked on a similar principle as X universe game.where you had a stion that could mine a station that needed the resources to make energy to run the station and other resources food ect ect ifs its going to be just a station that you defend every so often then after a period of a week people will get bored of it so then becomes dormant so it would need a lot of things to keep it going.any way hope the new patch is going to be worth the wait see you in game soon.
