We’re giving away a few pairs of General Admission Weekend tickets** for next month’s Star Trek Las Vegas Convention! Rules and restrictions apply*. The “prize” [a pair (2) of General Admission Weekend tickets**] only includes the convention tickets** themselves – travel, hotel, and any other incurred or necessary expenses are not included.

There are three (3) modes of entry, and you may participate in all three:
1) Here at sto.perfectworld.com, through this news article
- Make a comment on this news article below by Friday, August 3rd, at 11:59 AM PDT to enter for a chance to win the “prize”
- You must be logged-in to the site make a comment
- Your first comment on the blog will enter you in the contest
- Subsequent comments by the same individual will not be counted as an entry
- Out of all of the entries, one name will be randomly selected as the winner of the “prize”
- The winner will be notified that they have won by 6:00 PM PDT on Friday, August 3rd, through an email to their registered email address associated with their account
- The email will originate from customerservice@perfectworld.com
- The winner must respond with requested details by Monday, August 6th, at 11:59 AM PDT or their “prize” will be forfeited

2) Through our official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/StarTrekOnlineGame)
- “Like” our Facebook post about this contest by Friday, August 3rd, at 11:59 AM PDT to enter for a chance to win the “prize*”
- Out of all of the specific post “likes”, one name will be randomly selected as the winner of the “prize”
- The winner will be notified that they have won by 6:00 PM PDT on Friday, August 3rd, through the Facebook messaging system
- The message will originate from STO’s Community Manager, Brandon Felczer
- In order for you to receive the message, your Facebook account would need to be able to accept incoming messages from users who are not on your friends list
- The winner must respond with requested details by Monday, August 6th, at 11:59 AM PDT or their “prize” will be forfeited

- “Retweet” our tweet about this contest by Friday, August 3rd, at 11:59 AM PDT to enter for a chance to win the “prize*”
- Out of all of the retweets of this specific tweet, one name will be randomly selected as the winner of the “prize”
- The winner will be notified that they have won by 6:00 PM PDT on Friday, August 3rd, through the Twitter direct messaging system
- The direct message will originate from the @TrekOnlineGame account
- In order for you to receive the message, your Twitter account must be following the @TrekOnlineGame account and would need to be able to accept incoming messages
- The winner must respond with requested details by Monday, August 6th, at 11:59 AM PDT or their “prize” will be forfeited

**The tickets are only available for pick-up from the will call booth at the Star Trek Las Vegas Convention, at the Rio All Suites Hotel Convention Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The winner will need to provide their name, and if they choose to bring a guest, that guest will be the +1 under the winner’s name. It would mean SO much to me to be able to attend. I don't want to release any sob story with my personal problems, but let it be safe to say that I can't afford to purchase the tickets, but I have vacation time available from work and it would mean the world to me to be able to attend. God speed to everyone at the convention whether I have the opportunity to go or not!

Vegas...Star Trek...I love this idea! The possibilities for immersion are mind boggling! I haven't attended a convention in over a decade because they just don't come down here anymore.

I would love to go to the convention i can never afford one missed out on Star Trek the Experience cause of prices of rooms and transportation is to high star trek is my life ever since i was little i grew up with star trek would love to go it would probably take me 12 years to save up and afford to go to one and able to spend money there way transportation and rooms are for these things nothing comes to the east coast which is a shame my city built a new convencation center for stuff like this and isnt being used so sad nothing comes to east coast rarely to new york any more

Hey, why not? I've never been to a Trek convention and certainly never been to Vegas. I can't think of any other two birds I'd rather kill with one stone.
