Starbase Featured Project #9
From time to time, special projects will become available for fleets. With these special projects you can unlock new features to give your starbase more crew, more customization, and more recognizable features from Star Trek! Be quick, though – when a special project becomes available, it will only be available for a limited time. You must start the project before the end of the feature. Once you’ve started the project, though, you can keep working on it until it’s finished, even if the special event ends – but remember, you can only work on one special project at a time, so you’ll want to finish quickly to make sure that you can work on the next special feature!
Our next special feature is, “Welcome Guests”. Fleet starbases are just as much important hubs for official matters as they are social centers where fellow fleetmates can unwind from their daily duties. Federation and Klingon fleet starbases have also been receiving special visitors who have taken interest in the relaxing atmosphere and the entertainment opportunities.
Upon completion of this special project, your starbase’s interior will see increased population. Klingons will get a visit from Morn and dancing girls, while members of Starfleet will be visited by Morn and Latinum traders. This special project will be available around 10AM PDT on November 1, 2012, until around 10AM PDT on November 15, 2012.

Can Morn regurgitate a small cup's worth of Latinum once an hour for players? After all, he sacrificed his beautiful hair for that ability... Aside from that joke.... When are we gonna get some better vanity items for our Male toons? Male dancers would be funny, but I am more interested in hair for our shirtless Orion males, and can't a Fed guy get some topless options and some shorts for the beach at Risa? Not thos knee length board shorts Old Navy loves so much either, but some nice blue boxer brief size or speedo sized suits? For the love of god we have females running around with whale tail thongs and pasties sized bras everywhere, but we can't get some man candy options in the freaking future? They had more man flesh on view in TOS then we do in this game? Why can Kirk, Sulu and even bloated TNG Riker go clothing optional, but our men can't??

Had the crystals, so figured, "why not?" I liked Morn. Yep, he's there now...if only he was sitting on a stool and not hovering over the floor, that would be cool. As for the latinum traders: if they are going to just sit in one place all the time, they are kind of a waste of graphics...

OK before I start, I am a heterosexual (straight) man. I find it insulting that in the 25th century there is such a sexist project like this. Despite that is is Klingon and not as pristine as Star fleet, I still believe that If i were a Klingon woman I would be incredibly insulted on this male focused project. I am highly disappointed that such a sexist thing that could come out of Cryptic. I believe that male dancers should also be included or remove the dancers all together. that and "Dancing girls" is a sexist and form of Misogynist comment, in the 21st century let alone 25th.

This is disgusting. To make a project that puts naked NPCs in a starbase... We're badly off enough with the number of naked Orion player characters. And note: I am neither a woman nor a gay man. But I do care about sexual purity, and I certainly won;t be contributing to this project

i tought they want the fleet projects make easyer ,but this is again 200,000 dilitium how need the small fleets pay that ,and for reactie for that sentence the small fleets are most friends and don't want to join bigger fleets. but i tought read that in a comment for seasons 7 that want to make easyer for low member fleets. thanks for reading this comment.

Well as a KDF player I have to give credit where credit is due. Nice work for the KDF on the bases devs! The Federation bases look so generic, but the KDF ones are just AWESOME!

Can't we choose. It's not like Federation citizens are neutered and don't like dancing girls (and boys for the LGBT community) and Star Trek has certainly shown more than one Captain ogling a pretty lady in Theiss-ware. And what's this idea that Klingons don't want to get money? Heck Klingons should have a fighting pit and a rowdy bar. Because though today we drink togetehr, TOMORROW WE ALL MAY DIE!!!!

Yea thanks again for excluding the LGBT community and making female sexuality and nudity more prevalent in a game already full of it. When will there be some gender and sexual equality in the game? When will we see some outfit options at the very least to appease the LGBT community. You know there are at least 3 or 4 good sized fleets that are LGBT based, not to mention the actors that are part of the LGBT community in Star Trek *cough* George Takei and Zachary Quinto *cough*. And it's not just LGBT, what about the girls that play the game? Do you really think the gay men and straight ladies really want to see more female nudity in this game? Where is our half-nude dancing males?
