  This is a fix, really? Since this patch update I have yet to go without have a server response red text of death message for more than 20 - 25 minutes. I have had my character not beam up as I tried to do, it goes through the animation of beaming up but then my character disappears (visually) and I can run around but not interact. It takes anywheres from 1 - 4 times to log into the game. I do not know about other players but this stability update actually made things work. I understand that games have bugs and this will be a good game if they can ever get it out of Beta stage!

  Stability patch huh? For some reason, after downloading this patch my connection speed in this game has dropped to almost nothing if it connects at all. I can no longer play STO and I can't figure why.

  What I don't understand is why my 'launcher' constantly 'launching' AFTER I exit the game ... it's doing it every single time.

  I like how you didn't mention that you buffed the STF mobs with this patch. Again. Like last season. I really wish you guys would AT LEAST WARN US so that we don't figure it out after having shields disappear in two seconds flat and exploding 6 times without really being able to do anything about it.

  For the people who are wondering about the patch size. This is a common way Cryptic introduces seasons. They started doing it after everyone complained about the problems with downloading season 2. Basicly they update the server and the client with the physical content. (New systems, ships, UI, textures, graphics.) Then the machanics changes hit on release. It means that when the actualy Season hits it will allow you to get into it faster.

  The large 4gig patch was a prepatch and the small 120mb patch was the instability patch

  I'm seeing some people have 4420 MB of patch. Mine was only a little over 120mb.

  Same here, I was also wondering why mine was so much smaller.

  if you have ON-Demand patching enabled (launcher options) your patches will be smaller, (just what is necessary to get you into the game. STO will then patch on the fly as you play and explore never seen areas.

  Was hoping season 7 would come out the thursday after tribble test weekend like season 6 did, guess not this time. Hope its not filled with that many bugs.

  Actually they disguised it just as this...a simple stability fix. 5 hours later we are downloading a real big patch aka next season.

  Season 7 will have to wait at least one more week :-( Hopefully they find a way to fix the exchange not being able to find the cheapest price in All, or giving each and every item a page in which to search. Like Fleet Bonus Marks

  If you believe that I have a lovely bridge to sell you, barely used. It had a recent paint job, bit of an orangeish color. Have all the paperwork.
