when is the next promo ??
emperorwayne1 @ Nov 25th, 2012 7:20AM
Please remove Skrill and Verify By Visa. This never use to happen under the CP, and for some reason Skrill kept telling me I couldn't buy, but not why. So I kept trying, and it locked me out. Now I miss the promotion. Awful system.
admiralbeach @ Nov 25th, 2012 4:00AM
Actually 44.99 euro is about $58.38 which is more i would not spend any thing on a game that is meant to be fun and free work with your ship be one with the ship build you will love it rather than being a wallet warrior.
wazzagiow @ Nov 25th, 2012 3:53AM
what i will say is this. last time this offer was on it was clear what you was buying. in blocks of 1000 zen say i've just attempted to buy some and it's in euros. i'm in the uk so in pounds would be nice. and i'm seeing alsorts of diffrent rates. looks liek maybe if i was in euroland i'd be gettinga good deal but i wont be i don't due to being in the united kingdom. in short it's not very clear and takes some workings out which tbh i shouldn't have to do!

Dear Cryptic, PWE Employees, I am a bit confused about what kind of product you’re trying to sell. I purchased $50 dollars’ worth of Zen roughly 24 hours ago. My credit card statement says I've been charged but my balance in game says the same it has always said. To add insult to your customer, you’re running a sale on items I can’t yet purchase. Isn't the point of this sale, providing lockboxes that cost points and other gear, is to get me to spend points that I purchase or gain in game (from being a lifetime member) so that I may go ahead and support the game by purchasing more points to spend on more gear? This seems fair since the folks you do employ do this for a living so that they can earn a living for their families and hopefully you can turn a profit so that you can continue to provide a quality entertainment product to your customers. With all of that said, can anyone explain to my why my bank has cleared a transaction to your company but my balance has not changed? To make matters worse, this is the first time I’ve purchased with perfect world entertainment and the first comments I see online are all complaints about purchasing Zen. I’d like to leave you with this: Is it too much to ask that when I fill out a web form online, enter in my credit card information and press submit that an effort should be made to deliver services on a reasonable basis. When I walk into an electronics store to buy something and pay in full or I rent a movie from my cable system, do those companies automatically ask me to wait an extended period of time to deliver a product that is available for physical or electronic delivery when I pay? Signed, A Disappointed Customer

Did you buy on the website or in game?
silentiltm
Out of interest, worked perfectly fine for me. I just bought some then via the website. And have just transferred it to my STO account. All good. Did you wait for the transaction to finish processing or go all ADD and hit refresh because it took more than 5 seconds? To note, took about 15 seconds after the transactions was charged for the site here to update. I just let the page sit on processing transaction.
wazzagiow
have you checked to see if you have the zen on your web profile? it should be there. pwe has more than 1 game so your buying zen for any of them games. once you have bought the zen you need to transfer it to which game you want. the is a zen promotion from pwe not a sto only promotion. i hope what i've said can help. take care and i hope it works out :)
doclou
The transaction processed successfully (was patient with it and did not hit the button several times) and the web profile showed the full balance of what I purchased. I did everything over this website. Since I only purchased this game, it appears that I did not realize their was an extra step. I waited 24 hours before checking back in the game as I assumed the transfer would occur into my game account and not into some limbo state. As I only have purchased this game, it was not clear about this extra step. I took another look on the website today and their first time buyer guide makes no mention of this. I appreciate the comments back since according to the ticket I also logged, it takes 3-4 days to respond back to a question. Thank you, silentitm for pointing me in the right direction. I will give the "transfer zen" option a try and see where it takes me.
thematrixquest @ Nov 24th, 2012 5:28PM
It is bunk you can't use the gift cards and get the bonus. I'm a bit pissed that it doesn't say that on the add on the load screen. I just went out to buy it based on the add on the load screen then to find out when adding it, it didn't count.
silentiltm
The cards are pre-purchased effectively. How can you expect to get the bonus. Cleraly says the options available for the bonus in the promo. Just be pissed at yourself for being stupid: - PayPal - Skrill/Moneybookers - ClickandBuy - Google Checkout (**Not eligible for the bonus 300 ZEN) (Not available in the EU) - Steam (**Not eligible for the bonus 300 ZEN) (10,000 and 20,000 ZEN packages are excluded)
darkangel4333 @ Nov 24th, 2012 3:54PM

darkness6049 @ Nov 23rd, 2012 2:01PM

skars187 @ Nov 23rd, 2012 11:47AM
you cant even offer this through your own prepaid cards? umm...why?
realdarth5ava63 @ Nov 23rd, 2012 11:09AM
I wish this worked with your own Perfect World cards, seems a bit wobbly why it don't.
mustafatennick @ Nov 23rd, 2012 9:11AM
1000 to 2000 dollars, you sad sad boy the game is meant to be about fun not spend your life savings on it hahaha you made me gigle(at you)
deltas6 @ Nov 22nd, 2012 6:39PM
i wish were more generous with a 25% bonus. ^_^
nyarlathotep75 @ Nov 22nd, 2012 2:53PM
...and of course you have to do this just ONE WEEK, BEFORE... the typical Pay Day, and after bills are due from the previous pay day. I've been waiting for this, but I've got just $50 left in the bank to last me through until the 30th when I get paid next... bur of course, by then this Sale is over... Make it last through the first week of December and I guarantee a lot more people will buy more stuff from it!
iufiesenpai @ Nov 22nd, 2012 8:04AM
Bought my Zen 2 hours before the promo started. Didn't know about it. Then used it to buy a ship an hour and a half before the ship deal started. Lol. Just my luck.
nyxadrill @ Nov 22nd, 2012 7:51AM
Errr Brandon why are the figures different for us Europeans?? (figures taken from the payment processor) €44.99 = 4950 350 742 = 6042 ZEN Compared too the figures above.... $50.00 = 5000 750 300 = 6050 ZEN Not a huge difference I know but still a difference 0.o
nyxadrill
oh and at current exchange rates $50 USD is 38.8 Euros !!!!
khamseenair
Yeah, it's a big difference when you realise we're paying more than the US gamers are and we're getting less.
johnynormus @ Nov 22nd, 2012 7:01AM
you get even more amazing savings when you don't give cryptic your money. that's like 100% savings. rest assured ill give you some money when/ if the game is fun to play again and not some x,y,z currency grindfest
hunterguyver4 @ Nov 22nd, 2012 6:05AM
Now does this also apply to the prepaid game cards, or is it only exclusive to credit cards?
khamseenair @ Nov 22nd, 2012 1:07AM
So why the heck are non US customers being charged more? That's seriously messed up, there is no reason why a digital transaction should cost more from any location.
khamseenair
In fact, not only do we pay more, we get less. You've recently changed our bundles so we don't get the 5000 bundle anymore, we get 4950 350, which now means we don't get the 750 extra for the 15% bonus, we only get 742... Seriously screwed up, way to alienate half of your player base.
sicjeb @ Nov 22nd, 2012 12:02AM
Yes, why does a eurozone country pay more than a player from the USA? I was going to buy until I saw the difference in price. Forget it, I'm not being ripped off.
lindaleff @ Nov 21st, 2012 10:51PM
Why is Steam excluded from this? I play on Steam, so if (IF) I ever buy Zen, I do it from my Steam Wallet, which you have to load using a real card, so it should count just the same.
imrar @ Nov 21st, 2012 10:21PM
Why is Perfect World chargin EURO customers way more than Dollar customers? And no, I do not believe the costs in EU are 15 % higher. I get 126 zen for euro with this deal in EU, while it's value is 148 zen for euro when bought from US site. Unfortunately it directs me straight to EU payment, so I do not have choice in the matter. I just want the character slots open for my future klingon char. I try not to support games that overcharge their EU customers as much as I can. So this will be only and the last payment I make. You could have had more...
jonascarlson @ Nov 21st, 2012 8:53PM
That just figures... Just after I bought $200 in Zen yesterday so I could pick up some extra Doff Reinforcement Packs, you lower the price. That was quite convenient just as it and the Jem"hadar ship are phased out. That gimmick must have made them a bundle and now they need to come up with some way to keep the money coming in. This is the only game played where someone can spend $180 a year on a subscription fees and another $1000-$2000 a year in Zen. It can be real easy to get caught up playing and spend a lot of money buying Zen when you have a credit card attached. In a way, t's a bad form a gambling.
ruongdoh @ Nov 21st, 2012 6:15PM
Thank god you wont accept regular CC, so I wont have to spend another $ this year... Is it only the extra cost, or do you plant to move away from CC purchases all together?
sparta2n @ Nov 21st, 2012 5:45PM
Man I did the same thing as the other guy I just spent 50 yesterday to buy some stuff and now this lol just my luck
pweverybody @ Nov 21st, 2012 5:04PM
As usual, I just charged $50 not 24 hrs. ago! Didn't even spend it yet. Your waiting for me to spend it so you can do another C-Store Promo aren't you. I know how you guys work! I'll have to pick up a Game Card so I don't feel left out. Can never have too much Zen!
