By PWE_BranFlakes @ November 20, 2012 at 6:11pm
General
- Players should no longer be prematurely kicked from queue maps.
- High Rank NPCs have a high chance of dropping Green-or-Better level-appropriate loot when defeated.
- This affects Captain-rank NPCs on the ground, and Battleship and Dreadnought NPCs in space.
- Updated the STF queue text to include the information about Dilithium rewards.
- The daily fleet action missions now grant 50 Fleet Marks instead of Dilithium.
- These are the daily missions offered by Yanishev on the Fed side, and B'Mera on the KDF side.
- The Fleet Starbase ground supplies officer should no longer have a white background.
- Updated the Federation Gorn Minefield Fleet Action:
- There is a new 5-man Gorn Minefield Fleet Action that is based on the KDF 5-man Federation Minefield.
- The old 20-man version has been removed.
- Removed a double scroll bar for players with long ship lists.
- Resolved an issue where the ship name would sometimes show the incorrect name in the HUD.
- Your active ship should no longer be referred to by your default shuttle's name.
Systems
- Fleet Starbase Personnel projects should now properly accept Bridge Officer donations.
- Omega Reputation Updated:
- Duration of all T1 and T2 Reputation XP projects has been reduced from 40 hours to 20 hours.
- Energy Credit cost of all T1 and T2 Reputation XP projects has been reduced to 50% of prior cost.
- Romulan Reputation Updated:
- Renamed from "Romulan Star Empire" to "New Romulus"
- Duration of all T1 and T2 Reputation XP projects has been reduced from 40 hours to 20 hours.
- Energy Credit cost of all T1 and T2 Reputation XP projects has been reduced to 50% of prior cost.
- The Viral Matrix debuff can now be cleared by Engineering Team.
- Previously, this only cured the individual systems that were knocked offline.
Known Issue
- Some of the Reputation projects had their requirements lowered.
- Players that had more than the new required amount of Commodities, Hypos, and other items already contributed in Reputations, will see their "Contribute" button still available, but be unable to Contribute.
- This is a display issue only, and can be ignored if the requirement for that item has already been met.
- Clicking on the Contribute button will not result in any action being taken, and it can be safely ignored if the main UI is showing that the requirements have been met for that field.
- It will clear itself up once that project is completed.
- This will not occur for future projects, unless requirements are again lowered in a future patch.
- Players that had more than the new required amount of Commodities, Hypos, and other items already contributed in Reputations, will see their "Contribute" button still available, but be unable to Contribute.

vyconis81 @ Nov 25th, 2012 3:17PM
"Fleet Starbase Personnel projects should now properly accept Bridge Officer donations." Still does not work. Proof: Taken today: http://i49.tinypic.com/2mmu5mq.jpg Our SB Project for Andorian Personnel is STILL stuck!
llyodstyles @ Nov 22nd, 2012 8:21AM

The only thing I'm seeing that I like about this patch is the reduction of T1 and T2 for Romulan Reputations. Everything else is still pending issues and need to be addressed. Romulan Reputation Updated: Renamed from "Romulan Star Empire" to "New Romulus" Duration of all T1 and T2 Reputation XP projects has been reduced from 40 hours to 20 hours. Energy Credit cost of all T1 and T2 Reputation XP projects has been reduced to 50% of prior cost.

Nice Patch notes Cryptic.... Unfortunately, I am having the same server disconnect and extremely long load times as many others are. PLEASE FIX!!!!!

nierion @ Nov 21st, 2012 11:14AM
I was likeing what I was reading about the patch update until I read this: "The daily fleet action missions now grant 50 Fleet Marks instead of Dilithium. These are the daily missions offered by Yanishev on the Fed side, and B'Mera on the KDF side." Really? We don't need more fleet marks, thats not the hard part. It's the dilithium refinement cap and having access to more things that reward to dilithium. Ugh.... what are you thinking Cryptic, or not thinking as the case may be.
krcreed @ Nov 21st, 2012 11:07AM
Can we get an update? Are you working on the Problem?
krcreed @ Nov 21st, 2012 11:05AM

jamesames91 @ Nov 21st, 2012 7:46AM
For all u cry babys out their if u want more dilithiumm buy it. Its that simple. I am glad their offering more ways to get fleet marks. There making it to were small fleets have a chance which is good. Thany u perfect world and keep up the good work.
knightheart2
James, I'm in a small fleet... No one has even been talking about the imagined lack of fleet marks!
mikeyknight082 @ Nov 21st, 2012 7:44AM
Still no mention though about then sorting out the shield regen rate in your defense stats in space. I bet that is still none existent when the Shard comes back up.
knightheart2 @ Nov 21st, 2012 5:24AM
It seems to me that Cryptic is trying so very hard to increase its bottom line! Dan Stahl has stated on many previous occasions that he wants people to play the game. By decreasing the amount of dilithium given for a specific mission, the goal seems more then apparent for those of you trying to trying to earn the same amount of dilihium you were receiving in the 6th season you now need to grind harder and longer achieving the objective of getting you to play Star Trek online! This also has the benefit of “costing Cryptic less when you use the C-store as they would not be making money off your purchase.” By and large this are augment doesn’t hold much water as it’s considered that whomever had purchased the points to trade to me had already purchased them so that Borg Boff I had purchased has in effect already been paid for! However I’m sure Cryptic hadn’t considered the effect this would have on dilithium prices, as they continue to fall each time Cryptic tries to cutback the amount of dilithium players are earning! Little do they know things will continue to be this way until some changes are made.
caitlynshepard @ Nov 21st, 2012 4:34AM
And another way to earn dilithium taken away for the "comfort" of getting fleet marks. Cryptic, just accept that players went mad because you removed the main source of fleet marks and dilithium (Officer Reports) and nerfed the second one (STF). Either Perfect World just want too squeeze all still-paying player as much as possible before they close the gates (cashcow) OR they are really that stupid to think nerfing all the stuff that keeps the silver players in the game will give them more money. Either way, if they don't re-think the way they are heading its Star Trek Offline in less then 6 Months.
alnakar @ Nov 20th, 2012 11:32PM
Nice, thanks guys. I've been enjoying doing a lot more fleet actions since the patch, so I'm definitely looking forward to not getting booted on my first five attempts. I figure I should probably weigh in here... I feel like the vocal minority has been exceptionally vocal as of late. Season 7 has been a lot of fun. There have definitely been some bugs, and obviously not everybody is going to enjoy all of the content, but personally I'm very pleased with what I've seen so far. The fact that people are so up-in-arms is a sign that they're heavily invested in the game, which is a good thing in general, I think. Keep up the good work.
dnaangel9
Of course there are bigs. There are a ton of bugs that are still present in game, that have been there since STO first launched. Cryptic is always quik to introduce new money sink content and to stop loopholes, but they still cant correctly fix glaring bugs.
tweakey @ Nov 20th, 2012 10:53PM
why are you replacing the fleet action daily reward of 1440 dil with 50 fleet credits when people are complaining about there not being enough ways to get dil?
tweakey
i meant to say fleet marks not credits
chivalrybean
You will get dil from completing reputation missions now, which have a shorter cool down.
tweakey
It's only 240 dil per reputation mission, thats 960 a day which is 480 dil less a day. My main point was that they're taking away ways to obtain dil when people are asking for more ways to get it.
sentryavenger @ Nov 20th, 2012 10:21PM
What about the ultra slow hangar on the vesta? Currently it is almost not usable.
