  It is indeed a formidable ship. Perhaps a little too formidable. It has the benefits of both cruisers and tactical ships: 8 weapon slots (like most cruisers), a greater hull strength plus more crew than most tactical ships (like most cruisers have) such as the Armitage, Prometheus and Defiant classes and it has 1 more console slot than any other free ship. Like any tactical ship, it can load cannons and has a high turn rate (although slightly lower than named ships, but still very high if compared with any other ship which has 8 weapon slots and a hull of 36000). All these benefits, those of cruisers and tactical vessels combined, are making me wonder: is there any other ship in STO that is still worth getting after you get the Chel Grett? I've used Odysseys, Vestas, Assault and Star Cruisers and a tactial ship, but all these ships seem to have become obsolete. I mean, why keep flying an Odyssey if there is a Breen ship with the same amount of weapon slots but which has a far higher turn rate? Why keep flying a Vesta when the Chel Grett can carry far more weapons? Why keep using tactical ships when there is a ship which has a greater hull and can load cannons as well? Of course, I am happy for all of you who are enjoying this ship, and therefore I would like to thank Cryptic for releasing it. But somehow I think the release of the Chel Grett means there are people who are seeing their other ships, some of them paid with real money, becoming useless. It is just my opinion: a paid-with-real-money-ship should be far better than a free ship. For a free ship, I think it is a little too formidable. Or the Z-store ships have just become less formidable, to put it the other way.

  the breen ship is and great weapons platform but im finding it very hard to keep my shields up and running in battle ive tried maco shields,omage,borg,romulan, ect ect but like my maco shields are 9,000 they drop down to 6,500 not good

  I love my new ship! I was able to get it on each of my characters (even my brother's main character because he doesn't have internet right now so I raced for him). It wasn't hard to log on 25 times to get the ship and I'd say it's one of the nicer free things we've been given. I really appreciate whoever thought up the idea to give us a Breen ship in the first place. You know who you are and I thank you for it!!! :D

  The breen warship is a power house if you have the right weapons on her. Which I hope I do. I have polaron weapoms on my Breen warshi. But you failed to tell us that the Breen Energy Dissipator can affect us like the plasma torpedo when we fire it at point-blank range.

  Thanks to the incredibly dedicated staff of STO for this excellent ship! For some reason, you people keep giving us great free stuff despite the griping complainers. (Don't change it's stats please! It's great as it is! XD)

  Well least im not the only person missing out. get the game to work 50% of the time for the longest time. by the time the event is over i wil lalmost get there. ill have 960 pictures. so itll suck cause ill be so close. cant they extend it till January 30th? would make people happier and allow those whose computers wouldnt play the game because it kept having fatal errors

  Just in case you're didn't know, since you'll have 960 pics and be pretty close, you can buy some for lobi crystals if you have them from the Ferengi vendor. Just thought since you're very close to 1000 maybe you'll find it affordable. Cheers!

  I have it!!! , and truly tis a nice ship. granted, would be nicer w/ a bridge to go to that is breen. but hey mayhaps in the future. it is well worth the grind guys, and if u have extra lobi like I did u can get it NOW!!

  There's only one thing I'd like to say about this ship other than that it's great. I would like to see the officer stations changed to 1 - Commander Tactical, 1 - Commander Engineering 1 - Lieutenant Science, and 1 Lieutenant Universal, that would make this into an awesome tactical/tank ship.

  I second this, Drednught get nerfed and now it is obsolate, and sem aplies for all "uber" ships. Please Devs go add some more nice ships to kdf tha will solve the problem. if you have no idaas JUST POST ME

  I'm well aware that this is a Breen ship, but the coloring, the geometric shapes, and the random "arms" on it remind me of a borg ship, which is fine by me. Get this ship for borg captain and use the borg equipment and it'll look less like the Fed. liberated a single drone, and more like they liberated an entire ship.

  That's a really cool concept, actually! I've always wondered how cool it would be if a "refit" Borg sphere became a Fed/KDF playable ship. Probably a science-oriented vessel, with a special 360-degree targeting arc Plasma torpedo launcher. I'm thinking of stats like: Rank Required: Rear Admiral / Brigadier General Hull Strength: 38,000 Shield Modifier: 1.2 Crew: 750 Weapons: 3 Fore, 3 Aft Device Slots: 3 Bridge Officer Stations: 1 Lieutenant Tactical, 1 Commander Science, 1 Lieutenant Engineering, 1 Lieutenant Commander Universal, 1 Ensign Universal Console Modifications: 2 Tactical, 3 Engineering, 4 Science Base Turn Rate: 15 degrees per second Impulse Modifier: 0.12 5 Power to Weapons; 10 Power to Auxiliary Sensor Analysis Assimilated Tractor Beam (1.5 min cooldown, comes with it) 15 Particle Generators (so you can have a very good Tachyon Beam) 15 Graviton Generators (so your assimilated tractor is even better) 360-degree Plasma Torpedo Launcher (can use high yield/spread on it, standard plasma torp cooldown.

  There is no way a Borg ship would have a turn rate of 11. Also canon Borg spheres have a crew of 11,000. Just saying...

  It's a fun ship to fly... but I will admit. I was a little disappointed that there was no unique bridge like with all of the other unique ships. I hope that this gets added at some point.

  Only reason I can see why the Chel Grett doesn't have a bridge is because even in DS9 they didn't show a Breen bridge. I don't even think there was any concept drawings >_<
