  These promos tend to run approx two weeks before the next lock box starts to drop. With this Zen bonus plus key sale, guess I'll throw a couple bucks at it.

  Ummm silentiltm... if you mean the prepaid visa debit cards, those generally have fees attached, either to purchase the original card or to load funds onto them. That kind of defeats the purpose of getting the bonus Zen by getting the card. Not a bad idea, but impractical if hereticknight085 doesn't have access to a bank account or credit otherwise; the phrasing may have been a bit unkind as well. Just my two cents, I apologize if courtesy is beyond your ability. Best wishes :)

  Then maybe you should just wait for a sale and buy zen then? Even if they put advanced notice of these zen promos, for example like 2 weeks before, there will always be somebody who bought zen before the notice came out. How can PWE predict when YOUR going to by zen? If you went to the store to buy a pair of running shoes and 3 weeks later they have a 10% sale would you demand your money back and say they should have told you weeks in advance? You just have to be smart and wait until a sale comes up and then buy, if you can't wait then you can't blame anyone but yourself

  @nierion Actually, there were many currencies in StarTrek canon. Its just that the United Federation of Planets didn't have a need for a central currency due to a lack of commercial economy, so you didn't see it often. They still dealt with rationing energy, resources and trade with non-federation members which is why dilithium and energy credits are primary sources of currency in the game.

  Just when I bought some Zen . And am going to hate the zen to dithlium conversion rate ... this is the end of STO economics as we know it ... the mayan calander was right

  LOL - Sometimes I wonder if the Dilithium system was even worth it. They originally only wanted one currency back when they started making changes, they used to have all the different tiered marks you could earn and now we're back where we started again...... just makes you wonder really. Aside from Gold Pressed Latinum, remember all the currencies they had in the Star Trek shows / movies.... oh yeah, there weren't any! They could of thought of resources that felt more like Trek when making this game. Buying and selling equipment between Ferengi merchants for latinum would make sense and have all the other stuff based on some kind of resources as opposed to EC. But I know thats a bigger fish to fry, if they at least ditched the dilithium system, I'd be happy.
