  Any ideas what i can do with leftover holiday items?? At drozana station the darn ferengi will not take them...

  I dislike the excessive use of “FREE” in conjunction with this event as a whole; it sounds too commercial. After all, the entire game has a lot of “free” stuff to offer, and “free” doesn’t strike me as special in a F2P game. Also, while it is a nice idea to sell a few autographs for Lobi, it’s not at all “free”; if anything, the ship WAS “free” (to grind) until 25 days prior to discontinuation of the event zone, but no more.

  The ship is free in that you didn't need to spend any money on it. Just because some people CHOSE to pay for it doesn't change the fact that it's a free ship comparable to the ones you normally have to pay for.

  I have thoroughly enjoyed the winter land since it was my first time being able to join this event and I must say first off kudos to cryptic for this, they clearly pulled out the stops here to provide well detailed enviroment which has loads of fun things to do unlike other social zones like Risa which are just boring. This may sound elitest but I don't mean it to so bear with me here why not keep the winter wonderland open as a new VIP area where we can do those activities. Heres why for one it would encourage more people to consider shelling out some money for the game in order to gain access to this wonderful play ground which can be improved with other things like skiing and sledding for example. If they shut it down for another 11months then I think they will be missing big opportunity to expand the game in area which is normally neglected quite a bit in favor of making more ships and new episodic missions etc.

  Cool (no pun intended) event you guys put on. I am kind of bummed out that I missed out on the Breen ship as lots of real life stuff got in the way of me playing. Grrr! Stupid real life! It's sooooo OP. The devs of real life really need to nerf real life stuff that gets in the way of gaming. XD

  Is there any particular reason that the extra Q pics can not be traded in for GPL like all the other winter event commodities can? This seems like an oversight.

  Thanks for doing this kind of stuff, and keeping sto fresh! I've played other MMO's 'winter events', and have to say that Cryptic has done a heck of a job here, best one I've enjoyed so far! Keep it coming, and let us turn in our extra Q pics for winter items (coats, scarves, etc) once the event concludes, please?

  I will miss getting the free 40 that I need by one day. I wish you guys would keep it open until Tuesday evening, but I guess with this annoucemnet you won't. Darn.

  You can still get the 40 you need. If you have lots of EC, just buy lock box keys and get lobi crystals. About 50 lobi crystals will net you close to 40 pictures. Not enough EC? Then earn dilithium and buy Zen with the dilithium, then buy keys with the Zen. You'll probably need to open about 10 lock boxes for enough lobi crystals.

  Well all I have to say is it's a job well done STO Dev team! Keep up the work (BIG HINT 3rd Anniversary). If it goes well thats £25 in the bag (My Defiant Retro and fleet module).

  Just out of interest. What will happen to the autographed photo's after the 31st of January If we don't have enough for the Breen ship? Actually why I am asking knowing that Ferengi he will take the photo's and run for his life :-)

  Very much enjoyed winter event and so did my 7yr old son. maybe STO should start selling merchandise? My Wife is making me a rep trek scarf as we speak.

  I agree with the sentiments here. The winter event was great fun, the Breen ship is sharp, and my captain looks especially debonair in his winter jacket and scarf. Thanks for a fun event!

  This year's Winter Event has been a blast - I especially loved the snowball fights featuring "Snowzilla" !! i look forward to next year's event.

  You could buy them on the exchange, although I'm sure that once the event ends the prices will go up massively. It's not a great project either to be honest.
