  Hi, its 17.38 MEZ and i still can´t log in because the launcher could not be reached. Is there another bug or something?

  I was in STO from 9am to 930am, then server lost connection. I tried two times to re-connect to STO and it said maintance 7am to 9am PST. I am on EST, therefore, i am good until 10am. It sucks that I cannot play on my character with Q special bonus Double EXP

  It would be nice if they pushed the maintenance to after 10 am on the 28th.

  It should say 7AM PST instead of 10AM, because there is a notice on the launcher that says the servers are going down at 7 of maintenance. Couldn't you have pushed the maintenance to the 29th?

  Talk about taking things out of control here. When I said I was not a big fan of a lot of things of game I am called a complainer and 'LEAVE THEN', being pointed as bitter commenter #1. Well lets take the time to look at my comment and the meanings of the words. If you look at the last half of the of the second sentence you will notice that I am commenting on this event is helpful in offering a quicker rise in level for other characters on your account, this would lead to being able to take part in more higher level activities and increased playability and survivability of that alternate character which leads to the option of earning more EC and Dith at a quicker pace. This is a positive statement. Now if we look at the last sentence it clearly states that people should stop complaining about how it is not enough and it references the second sentence with the event is doing what it is meant to do. I fail to see how writing a comment that states the event is to meet a goal and is accomplishing that goal is complaining, it is a comment of support. Now we are going to move back to the first half of the second sentence which I state I am not a big fan of a lot of things in the game and that is accurate as i fell it could be a little more cannon and more content and that is the reason I state I am not a 'Big Fan' I did not state that I was not a fan or that I did not like the game or that this game suck, just not a 'Big Fan' By the way the meaning of those two words means large in dimension, bulk, or extent and ardent admirer, or enthusiastic devotte. The reason that I used two words was to say that I am not a large enthusiastic devotee, I am just a regular player who enjoys the concept. So my advice to people is take the time to read the sentences in a post and take into the account the meanings of the words, the meaning of the sentence, the overall message of the post. If that was done my first post here would have been taken in the manner is was meant, as a supportive and positive post for this event. After all Bigtitsmgee and Xaosmg123 I afforded you that courtesy before making this post and to point something out I read your post Xaosmg123 and it seems the overall message of both your post and mine are in the same general area of support, it is my was just about 20% the length of yours. Well your post does seem more of the large enthusiastic devotee were my message put me more at the ardent admirer stage, but that is ok as I will continue to pay my monthly sub fee as am regular ardent admirer of the Star Trek concept.

  This might be their way of encouraging such players to create another character which leads to another rep to be ranked up, more c-store purchase and so on. Double marks is top idea. They could easily allow us to select the bonus from Q, XP or Marks or maybe even an increased percentage of dil for players who have T5 on all rep.

  I don't know why people are against this, I was enjoying my double XP boost last night and I will again tonight. If you don't like it for some reason, simply don't get it. It's not like it's something they force upon you, you have to seek out Q and get it.

  Look guys at the end of the day the STO guys who run this game are doing their best at what they do to get more people to come to STo that is good there will ALWAYS be someone who dont like that idea of Double this Double this etc its an awesome game and people should embrace it if you dont like the game then go play something else I like this game I didnt think I would but I love it please dont spoil it :D

  I will NEVER NEVER NEVER understand why there are sooooo many players that literally HATE the majority of the MMOS that they play. CONSTANTLY PLAY actually lol. To Bitter commenter #1 - if you are " not a big fan of a lot of things in this game" - THEN LEAVE!!! There are hundreds and hundreds of amazing mmos of all types that Im sure that if you looked, you could fine one or several that would make you 100% happy. I for one disagree with SOME things in STO, but the good greatly outweights the bad. MMos wil lALWAYS BE CHANGING so something I dont like now could change in teh future. The key to a happy and healthy mmo experience is remember the 50/50 mmo rule: MMO games themselves bring 50% of what is needed for perfect mmo gameplay. The other 50% is suposed to be brought by players. Use your IMAGINATION to fill in the blanks. FOcus on what you do love and forget what you dislike. But, if you EVER find yourself 1_ Bored, 2_ Grinding or 3- Disliking the majority of the game excet for 5% that you playt in.... then its time to mOVE ON and find another mmorpg. OIr you culd just take a break from playing soo much and come back in a few months. Or, even more common is alt burnout - just STOP PLAYING ALTS and focus on one character, or play just ome chatacter of a different faction or a class/specialization that you arent that comfortable with. In STO, it seems a lot of players do EVERYTHING on one FED character and if they choose to, theyll do teh same on a KDF character. After they do all the games content and missions at ;east once, then theyll replay all the episodes at max level for all teh sepcial goodies now available to them and get sem great rewards- since the missions and rewards all SCALE to the players new "rank" If that doesnt work, just mvoe on. THERE IS NO REASON WHATSOEVER ti play ANY MMMO that you dont 100% LOVE! Thats the point! There are epic gameworlds. Hell, if you "WALK" around Nrw rimulus or a starbase.station and dont smile while you explore and interact with NPCs and things, then you have lost the WANT for STO. Its not a bad thing - some peopel just dont mesh well with the game and others lose interest over time. So just move on and make room for thse that do APPRECIATE and LOVE STO for what it IS and what its GOING TO BE. Not what is ISNT and what it COULD be. Anyways, good luck and props to all people that love STO or that left, but at least gave it a chance. STO is what turned me into a huge trekkie and I wouldnt change my experiences here or choice to play STO for anything! Good luck and have ag reat weekend! Xalon out! Salute! S! -X

  Typical, they offer something and the comments start that it should also be double this and double that also. I am not a big fan of a lot of things in this game but at least they are offering something to help alts get up in level and this is what I think this offer is all about. People have to stop posting it is not good enough on everything they do/offer.

  yeah i see what your saying, but since logging in, i think to double all the things you can all ready get boosts for, i.e. Skill, Commendation, Fleet Credits and Fleet Marks. But alas it is just skill and for that i am grateful.

  How are they doing anything of the sort? "Q is back" which indicates a return, which suggests he's been there before, which means this is nothing new.

  Q needs to doulble all rewardsfor his weekends. Double the marks and dilithium. He should also be able to double your refinement for the three days. Since most of us are maxed level this is a way q weekends could help.
