Spectres, Episode Six

The Foundry for Star Trek Online gives players a chance to create and share their very own stories with the world. These Spotlight Missions were designed by members of the Star Trek Online community and are great playable examples of what you, too, can add to the Star Trek Online universe.
This week’s spotlighted mission is "Spectres, Episode Six" by HippieJohn.
Faction: Federation
Level Requirement: 16+
Mission Summary: The U.S.S. Rueben James, NCC-1707, was lost 145 years ago in 2265 in the Sherman System in an engagement with Klingon Forces. Could one of the first major Starfleet losses during the early days of space exploration be your fault? And will a daring mission to the past with your crew be the only way to set the timeline right?
This mission was also the winning mission from Foundry Challenge #5!
To play this Foundry mission, log onto a Federation character, open your Mission Journal (J), and click on 'Hail' under the section labeled 'FOUNDRY' in the "Overview" tab. You will see that this Foundry mission is spotlighted in that section.

Played it, loved it, and with the pseudo-accolades for various story choices, it promises to be fun to play it again a slightly different way :)

I said it in my review and I'll say it here, I loved this mission it was very well done. The Rueben James is a good mystery and it is completely a logical follow up. It also has a virtual tour of the Constitution Class TOS interior for those who haven't purchased it, a real treat.

Did not get past multiple walls-of-text.

Don't be lazy and immerse yourself in the story, it really is worth it. Yes, it requires some reading to figure it out - but it's definitely worth it!

It's like some of the other missions in the davidian arc, you can't just mash the F key, run to the glowing bit on the map, mash the F key, rinse and repeat - that's how you run most STO missions but it doesn't work for this one. This one requires you to read, and adapt. Much like figuring out what kind of nerve tonic Cassidy wanted :P
