  Whatever is being planned for STO, I am super-excited. It looks as if the Romulans will make a major comeback. However, I am curious as to whether or not there will be any stories involving the Iconians. Having played nearly all of the feature episodes, I cannot wait to learn about their agenda for the Alpha Quadrant.

  it would make sense for Sela's Romulan Star Empire to be a playable faction since both the KDF and Feds are enemies of her Empire in the storyline while wannabe dictator D'tan of the New Romulan Empire is nothing more than a Federation and Klingon puppet government.

  They barely have enough for the Klingon faction and now they think a Romulan faction is a good idea? Well, I guess if they do it right. It might be fun starting off as a Romulan cadet in a station over New Romulus. Even if it's a 'clone' of the Fed side, it'll be better than the Klingon side.

  Hmm wait a min...weren't we told in Vegas that we'll be getting new FE's that dealt with the Romulans and this (Assuming Season 8) would be heavy KDF focussed?

  I hope we get a proper romulan faction instead of a 'new romulus' faction. 'Good guy' romulans does not appeal to me nearly as much as playing as the sneaky, backstabbing and nasty romulan star empire of the shows. I like D'Tan and all that, but him and his seperatists couldn't be further from the old romulan empire if they tried.

  I think it would be cool if after leveing a bit, say the first 10, you coould choose which Romulan path you wanted to follow. It would be interesting to have 'Good Romulans' and 'Bad Romulans'

  I agree, I like the New Romulans. I think it's encouraging to see that not all are awful. But, if there's going to be a Romulan faction it'd BETTER be the sneaky, unscrupulous, back-stabbing, bunch!! I will NOT play some New Romulus sub faction BS! I'd like to think they wouldn't be stupid enough to do that, we'll see I suppose.

  We know what it means. We all watched ENT (well, most of did, anyway). That doesn't mean that it can't _also_ mean a Romulan faction is coming.

  It states later on thatit will be "Under the Raptors wing" later on in the site. It leads me to believe that perhaps the first or second Romluan war.
