  Very interesting information about the start of STO. I had no idea about the time pressures. That explains much. My opinion of Cryptic has gone up quite a bit. Sounds like things are managed quite well XD

  dStahl is nigh on saintly for putting up with some of these inane questions. "Why didn't you get Denise Crosby earlier!?". Some great insight into how the development of the game has come along. The pay-as-you-go method of game development makes a lot of sense and explains a lot. I know Perfect World must be pretty nightmarish to work with as far as a publisher is concerned, and I can hear some frustration with their draconian controls over what he can say and when.

  Obviously you never played STO b4 it went F2P... it is better right now with PWE than it was with Atari, Atari did zero on everything on STO except for promoting the game b4 its release and when STO failed their expectations they decided to cut and run then they die afterwards. leaving PWE to buyout Cryptic, without them u will not be playing this game now.

  what about the romulan faction will there be one or not just ancer the dang qestion stop beating around the bush and just tell me i dont wanna know later if i got my hopes up then just tell me i sware if u wait tell the last second and then say no i will not play tell season 10

  id like to see them make a topic in the ofrums saying stuff u want one have a poll and do the top 3 priority! then do a poll for top 5 features and do it! i like the interviews tho

  They already did that and if they introduce Romulans and give KDF more content in May, that means that they fullfiled the top 2 priorities on that pool. :)

  @wildweasal mm, who's to say your voice is any better sir? @imadoctormota I have edited a lot of ums out and Stahl says them as well. Care to take a look at STOked or Priotity one recently? they ronounce it stow as well :)

  I like the retrofitting of audio for existing missions as the actors come through. Also, work custom audio into the Foundry. Also, a useful custscene tool. I can dream.

  "Kirk or Picard" is a dumb question because it begs the question "What?". If the question comes back as "which is the best captain", the answer is "In what aspect". Nobody would want Kirk as there captain but would more likely like him as a fictional captain. Picard is the better person to serve under but isn't all that exciting.

  I think Picard is an exciting captain, but probably not for everyone. Not if you're not some kind of very rational introvert.

  Lets be honest here, Kirk isnt a good captain at all. He's only in the league cuz ToS has the most zealous fanboys. Even if it does not have the most fanboys.

  Bigger challenges? In STO it means "carry 20 other players" or "pugs can complete it with optional objectives in their first run".

  Anyone can play the game.... But someone had to buy our money for you eventually... after all, That Fleet Ship is better... but it lacks the console you want, that's 20 bucks, and then you need 5 more bucks for this little module for the ship requisition... so yea... It's TOTALLY free! Grind grind grind! puh... >.>

  maybe you need to clean your ears out and listen to the interview next time they had no choice but to release on the date that the previous company had set due to the license.
